About / FAQ
Our Programs / General Questions
Q: What do my plans cover?
A: All of our membership plans include unlimited telehealth visits (for care that can be handled virtually), direct provider messaging, prescription review and refills (when applicable), lab ordering and analysis, and wellness guidance.

Q: Are there restrictions or things telehealth can’t do?
A: Yes. Telehealth has limits. We can’t provide emergency care, in-person exams, imaging (X-rays, MRIs), or surgical procedures. If your condition requires an in-person visit or specialist, we’ll refer you.

Q: Is this like health insurance?
A: No — Veytru is not insurance. Instead, it’s a membership-based care model. You pay a flat rate (monthly or per plan), and in return, we provide telehealth-based care without per-visit charges. Because we're not an insurer, we don’t pay for hospital stays, surgeries, or specialty care beyond what your membership includes.

Q: Do I get discounts on medications?
A: We don’t directly offer discounted meds, but we provide recommendations for trusted prescription discount cards and services to help you save.

Q: Can anyone purchase your services?
A: Our licensed providers are currently authorized in Georgia, so we can only prescribe or deliver care to patients located within Georgia at the time of treatment. Over time we plan to expand into additional states.
HRT Hormone Therapy
Did You Know?
-
Many men and women experience fatigue, mood changes, low libido, or brain fog due to hormonal imbalance.
-
Lifestyle, stress, and aging can all impact hormone production — often without people realizing it.
-
Optimizing hormones naturally through nutrition, sleep, stress reduction, and guided medical support can help restore balance, energy, and well-being.
What the Research Says
-
Studies show that balanced hormones play an essential role in maintaining healthy metabolism, cognition, and cardiovascular function.
-
Low testosterone or estrogen imbalance can contribute to symptoms such as low energy, muscle loss, mood changes, and poor concentration.
-
Safe, personalized support plans focused on whole-body wellness — not just prescriptions — have been shown to improve overall health outcomes.
How We Approach Hormone Health
-
We take a root-cause approach, evaluating lifestyle, nutrition, and underlying health factors before recommending treatment.
-
Baseline labs (hormones, thyroid, liver, and metabolic panels) are reviewed by your provider to create a safe, individualized plan.
-
When appropriate, we use nutraceuticals, peptides, or natural optimization protocols — always with careful monitoring and follow-up labs.
-
If advanced hormone therapy is needed, we coordinate referrals to trusted endocrinology partners to ensure safety and continuity of care.
-
Every plan is designed to promote vitality, balance, and longevity — without unnecessary risk or dependency.
GLP-1 (e.g., Liraglutide)
Why Veytru Uses LiraglutideInstead of Ozempic® or Mounjaro®

At Veytru, we’re committed to safety, compliance, and affordability.
You may have heard of GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic® (semaglutide) or Mounjaro® (tirzepatide). These brand-name products are still under active patent protection, and the FDA has stated that compounded or “generic” versions of these drugs are not currently authorized. Because of that, most reputable pharmacies — including ours — no longer compound them.
Instead, our providers prescribe Liraglutide, an FDA-approved GLP-1 medication whose patent has expired, allowing it to be safely and legally compounded through our partner 503A pharmacy.
Liraglutide offers:
-
Proven support for weight management and blood-sugar balance
-
A well-established safety record from over a decade of clinical use
-
Comparable benefits to newer GLP-1s, though weight loss may occur more gradually
-
Lower monthly cost and full provider oversight through Veytru’s wellness program
While no GLP-1 medication is risk-free, Liraglutide remains one of the most reliable and accessible options for patients seeking medically supervised weight management within current U.S. telehealth and compounding regulations.
Peptides
Did You Know?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as natural messengers in the body, signaling cells to heal, recover, and perform better. Medical peptide therapy uses these naturally occurring molecules to help optimize metabolism, improve energy, support recovery, and promote overall vitality.
What We Offer
At Veytru, our peptides are sourced through a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy and prescribed only under provider supervision.
Each protocol begins with lab review and medical evaluation to ensure safety and alignment with your goals — whether that’s improving recovery, hormone balance, weight management, or cellular repair.
We offer tailored programs that may include peptides such as:
-
BPC-157 for tissue repair and gut health
-
CJC-1295/Ipamorelin for growth hormone support, better sleep, and metabolism
-
AOD-9604 for fat metabolism and energy
-
Thymosin Alpha-1 for immune regulation

Is It Safe?
When prescribed and monitored by a licensed provider, peptide therapy is considered safe and well-tolerated. Common side effects are mild and may include slight fatigue, temporary redness, or nausea during initial dosing.
Effectiveness & Oversight
Results depend on consistency and the specific peptide protocol, but patients often report improved recovery, focus, sleep, and energy within 4–8 weeks.
Every Veytru plan includes follow-up labs and direct provider oversight to monitor safety and effectiveness.

Legal Note
Peptides are not supplements and are available by prescription only.
All peptide treatments are compounded in FDA-registered 503A pharmacies and available exclusively to Georgia residents under Veytru’s licensed medical providers.

Medical Disclaimer
Veytru is a Georgia-based telehealth practice. All care, prescriptions, and wellness programs are provided exclusively by licensed medical professionals in accordance with Georgia state telemedicine laws.
Patients must be physically located within the state of Georgia at the time of consultation or prescription.

Our services are not a replacement for emergency care or in-person medical treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department.

While many therapies and medications offered by Veytru — such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT/TRT), GLP-1 medications, and peptides — have strong clinical evidence supporting their use, all medical treatments carry risks and may not be suitable for every patient. Your provider will review your medical history, labs, and goals to determine whether a therapy is appropriate for you.

Veytru does not guarantee specific medical outcomes. Individual results may vary depending on health status, consistency, and adherence to provider instructions.

Cancellation Policy
Log in to your Veytru Member Account, click My Subscriptions, and select Cancel Plan.
Once canceled, your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
If you have any issues or need assistance, please contact us at support@veytru.com.

Please Note:
Because many of our services involve compounded medications, lab processing, and provider preparation, once treatment has been dispensed or labs have been ordered, those costs are non-refundable.
For HRT / TRT Patients:
Abruptly discontinuing hormone therapy is not recommended and can cause withdrawal symptoms or hormone imbalance.
If you wish to discontinue treatment, your provider will help design a gradual taper plan over several weeks or months to safely restore natural balance.

For GLP-1 and Peptide Programs:
If you choose to pause or stop treatment, please inform your provider so your medication plan can be adjusted. This ensures proper discontinuation and prevents side effects or rebound symptoms.
Additional Notes:
-
Veytru is not an insurance provider and does not reimburse third-party medical or pharmacy costs.
-
All medications are dispensed through FDA-registered 503A compounding pharmacies.
-
Treatment availability is limited to Georgia residents under active medical supervision.
-
Any suspected adverse reactions or side effects should be reported to your provider immediately.
